    Are you a current college junior or senior, or recent graduate within the last 24 months, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering? If so, we want to hear from you! UPS Global Business Services (GBS) is looking for a dynamic Forecasting and Planning intern for our Industrial Engineering department who is eager to obtain real-world, hands-on business experience.

    The GBS Forecasting and Planning intern will streamline and automate current forecasting processes and identify key pinch points of the procedures that can be adjusted or modified to create a more efficient process.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Forecasts time savings and efficiency improvements
    • Compiles ad hoc statistical reports
    • Creates process flow reports

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong financial and statistical analysis skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience using Python
