UPS is seeking a Global Business Services (GBS) Operations Intern to join our team for the upcoming semester. Candidates must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Systems, Operations Management, Quantitative Analysis of Market & Organizations or related field, with at least two years of course work completed toward degree, or a recent graduate within the last 24 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Updates outdated Access programs to current standards
• Develops an internal audit process to scan and identify outdated Records Information Management files on local servers and desktops
• Automates existing process, if possible

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Access and Excel
• Ability to work unsupervised
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Confident, creative, demonstrates an acceptable level of commitment to the project, and has a high degree of integrity
