  • Responsibilities

    UPS is seeking a Global Business Services (GBS) Payroll intern to join our team. Candidates must be current students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration or related field, with at least two years of course work completed toward a degree, or a recent graduate within the last 24 months.

    The Global Business Services Payroll intern will review existing documented business processes associated with payroll and benefits processing, audit the validity of the documentation, and update as necessary. Additionally, he/she will be involved with the annual business process review assessment. The assessment is performed on all payroll and benefit functions that are completed in the Columbus payroll location to ensure proper controls are in place and the error exposure is mitigated.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Completes review and modification of all documented business processes
    • Completes 2019 Business Process Review Assessment

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Confident, creative, demonstrates an acceptable level of commitment to the project, and has high degree of integrity
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
