UPS, one of the “World’s Most Admired Companies” according to Fortune, is looking for motivated and enthusiastic students to participate in summer internships. Selected candidates will gain invaluable knowledge and experience in different areas of our business and will learn a broad perspective of the logistics industry by interacting with various levels of management. Students will be able to apply their newly learned business experience to their academic studies.

Other Duties:

• Lead working sessions with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to establish and document standards
• Capture meeting minutes from all working sessions and distribute to meeting participants
• Compose requests for change (RFC) outlining as-is (current) and to-be (future) requirements
• Create user acceptance testing (UAT) plans for the testing cycle
• Work with each application project manager to update application documentation
• Document the new standards in a user/reference guide
• Prepare capstone presentation and deliver to senior sales leadership to demonstrate presentation and communication skills
• Other duties as needed

• Ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Ability to multitask and work with cross functional virtual teams
• Experience with technical writing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Rising junior or senior preferred
• Actively enrolled in a degreed college program in the area of Business Management, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Logistics, or Marketing is preferred
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) SharePoint
• Able to work 35-40 hours per week

Founded on a $100 loan in 1907, 2 teenage boys opened up a messenger service in a 6 by 17 foot office located just below the sidewalk on Second Avenue and Main Street in Seattle, WA.
