  • Responsibilities
    • Perform recruiting tasks: edit and post job requisitions, flow candidate resumes and send to the Hiring Manager for review, use web-based sourcing to recruit when necessary
    • Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate/ Hiring Manager relationships
    • Focus on managing and monitoring open requisitions in the UPS applicant tracking system
    • Recruit for multi-location positions
    • Assist in building and maintaining University and student relationships
    • Involvement with campus recruiting processes, including managing interview days, tracking candidates and engaging with schools
    • Manage the summer intern program for UPS including the application process, interviewing, selection, on-boarding and end-of-summer wrap-up activities.
    • Event planning, including summer intern program, career fairs, campus events, bring your child to work day, team building, and etc
    • Creating spreadsheets to maintain data using Excel
    • Creating PowerPoint presentations in order to organize and present assigned projects.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to prioritize work.
    • Ability to work with all levels of leadership.
    • Ability to multi-task/work on multiple projects and give status updates.
    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to develop relationships with customers.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Gather report information and creating reports.
    • Must be able to work in the UPS Technology office in Mahwah, NJ.
    • Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer and 15-20 hours per week during school semesters.
    • Currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline, or has graduated from a degreed college/university program within that last 24 months.
    • Pursuing a career in Human Resources.
    • Business skills such as Multi-tasking, planning, organizing, decision-making, problem-solving, accountability, and initiative.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Previous office or corporate environment experience helpful.
