  • Responsibilities

    The main responsibility for the IE Intern position will be to manage a project geared towards the completion of Work Measurement in LATAM Brokerage operations and the automation and improvement of existing brokerage reports. The key responsibilities will be to analyze available information and offer solutions for streamlining existing processes. The focus of this internship will be geared towards the completion of work measurement for Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic. This position will also be responsible for creating and delivering presentations to upper management regarding their recommendations. Candidate is expected to have advanced programming, excel, and analytical skills as they will be working with large amounts of data.

    Other Duties

    • Organize layout of common brokerage procedures in LATAM operations
    • Create work measurements for common brokerage processes
    • Support in the process to obtain final documented proposal with projected operational savings

    Preferred Competencies

    • Strong attention to detail
    • Able to generate and analyze reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Demonstrate general knowledge of techniques for analyze large amounts of data
    • Ability to work independently and follow through with various duties and tasks

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Data Management experience – Preferred
    • Experience using Six Sigma, Visio and AutoCAD – Preferred
