    ABOUT THIS ROLE:

    The INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST participates in the identification, tracking, and monitoring of information security threats and service operations.  He/She utilizes established processes and tools to focus on incident response, threat identification, analyses, and remediation.  This position participates in the implementation and integration of risk management procedures.  He/She supports the processes for technical and physical risk management to protect UPS’s information assets.  This position assists with the development and maintenance of business continuity planning, data, systems, and network security for systems and controls related to their job duties. Analysis of compliance aspects including defects, findings, and password compliance while developing automated and procedural solutions to proactively ensure compliance within the solutions delivery group. Ability to take direction and lead others in analysis of security and compliance aspects and produce reports for team management. Will interface with leads of applications teams and various levels of local management.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience with Regulatory Compliance SOX, Security Compliance Analysis, Microsoft office
    • Knowledge of Security Incident Response, Security Risk Mitigation
    • Familiar with Pen Test Assessments
    • Data Analysis, Presentation Skills, Knowledge of Standards and Governance Policies and Procedures

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
