    UPS is seeking a Global Business Services (GBS) Internal Knowledge Intern to join our team. Candidates must be current students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Communications, Web design, Marketing, or related field, with at least two years of course work completed toward a degree, or a recent graduate within the last 24 months.

    The Global Business Services Internal Knowledge intern will be working in the Order to Cash function within UPS Global Business Services. The ideal candidate will assist the Knowledge team in several areas:

    • Improving our current Customer Service Representative support application (IRIS)
    • Assisting in migration and design of support documents into Salesforce application
    • Creating original documents that can be used for both internal and external communications for a variety of objectives
    • Making recommendations for design improvement opportunities in support areas within UPS.com
    • Going through the UPS customer journey process and making recommendations for improvement
    • Making improvement recommendations for content for the UPS.com Virtual Assistant

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Migrates documents from our current Customer Service Representative support application to Salesforce
    • Creates new content within Salesforce
    • Designs improvements on support content
    • Identifies opportunities to improve both customer experience and cost reduction with our UPS.com Virtual Assistant
    • Works with subject matter experts and team members to create solutions for gaps in UPS.com Virtual Assistant

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Confident, creative, demonstrates an acceptable level of commitment to the project, and has high degree of integrity
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio)
    • Experience in Visual Studio/HTML Editor/Visual Basic
    • Experience in Graphic Design
