    UPS is looking for motivated and enthusiastic students to participate in summer internships. Selected candidates will gain invaluable knowledge and experience in different areas of our business and will learn a broad perspective of the logistics industry by interacting with various levels of management. Students will be able to apply their newly learned business experience to their academic studies.

    The Multimedia Intern will contribute to the design, development and execution of multimedia projects. The Multimedia intern will work closely with the creative team to develop materials across a wide range of formats including video, motion graphics, web, infographics, deck templates, slides, printed and digital collateral, banners, mobile, etc.

    Other Duties

    • Supports multimedia projects from conceptualization to production
    • Create wireframes, prototypes and other interaction design deliverables
    • Test ideas and rapidly incorporate user feedback
    • Apply and perform design skills (drawing/sketching, ideation, color theory, typography, imagery, texture)
    • Develop a visual design library for common user interface elements (buttons, icons, etc.)
    • Provide recommendations to weave design concepts throughout the digital experience - desktop, laptop, tablet, mobile, etc., for needs of the business
    • Create layouts that support our corporate image including color, typography, and photographic selection
    • Prepare capstone presentation and deliver to senior sales leadership
    • Other duties as needed

  • Qualifications

    Preferred Competencies

    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft Office
    • Familiarity with website and mobile app functionality
    • Intermediate/Advanced use of different types of computers (Windows environment) and mobile devices (Android, iPhone)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to focus in a cube-space work environment

    Minimum Qualifiers

    • Able to work 35-40 hours per week - preferred
    • Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent software - preferred
    • Currently a rising junior or senior enrolled in a college/university Graphic Design, Video, or Multimedia program - preferred
