    JOB SUMMARY

    The PPM intern will work individually or on small teams to provide support and enhancements to existing and new operations systems in an effort to insure projects are aligned with the corporate strategy. This position serves as a liaison between stakeholders, software developers, and end users. He/She will be involved in gathering business requirements, initiating feasibility studies, and maintaining data for the project's life cycle. Other responsibilities include: creating and developing functional design requirements, user acceptance test (UAT) scripts, UAT lab testing, and updating user manuals to ensure functionality data is current.

    OTHER DUTIES

    • Analyze business processes and customer requirements
    • Analyze data and provide recommendations based on findings
    • Create functional business rules & external system design
    • Create training documentation and procedural manuals
    • Report application defects to IS to ensure resolution prior to deployment
    • Create and execute test scripts to ensure applications meet end users' needs
    • Respond to systems' usability ad hoc requests to ensure clarification of the systems' functionality
    • Act as a representative for UPS applications across all levels of the organization

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Rising Junior to rising Senior Level Majoring in Industrial Engineering or disciplines of Engineering or Operations/Supply Chain Management - Preferred
    • Effective statistical analysis skills - Preferred
    • Effective research and communication skills - Preferred
    • Technology Knowledge: Demonstrates a general understanding of technology used by the company; communicates basic technological concepts and terminology; applies standard technology in daily work - Preferred
