    JOB SUMMARY

    The Package Process Management (PPM) specialist works individually, or on small teams, to provide support and enhancements to existing and new operations systems to ensure projects are aligned with the corporate strategy. You'll serve as a liaison between stakeholders, software developers, and end users. This position gathers business requirements, initiates feasibility studies, and maintains data for the project's life cycle. You'll also create and develop functional design requirements, user acceptance test (UAT) scripts, UAT lab testing, and updates user manuals to ensure functionality data is current.

    OTHER DUTIES

    • Analyzes business processes and customer requirements.
    • Creates functional business rules & external system design(s).
    • Reports application defects to IS to ensure resolution prior to deployment.
    • Analyzes data and provide recommendations based on findings.
    • Creates training documentation and procedural manuals.
    • Creates and executes test scripts to ensure applications meet end users' needs.
    • Responds to systems' usability ad hoc requests to ensure clarification of the systems' functionality.
    • Acts as a representative for UPS applications across all levels of the organization.

    PREFERRED COMPETENCIES

    • Detail Orientation: Captures/documents specific and accurate information; learns subjects thoroughly and in detail; completes work with thoroughness; supplies appropriate details when requested; maintains organized files.
    • Report Generation: Possesses ability to generate simple reports using basic functions in software, and/or writing basic queries; identifies information required to complete reports and identifies existing reports generated by others.
    • Small Package Operations Knowledge: Demonstrates and explains proper processes, procedures and methods for small package operations; demonstrates a basic knowledge of common tools, equipment, and technology used within the operation.
    • Technology Knowledge: Demonstrates a general understanding of technology used by the company; communicates basic technological concepts and terminology; applies standard technology in daily work.
    • Work Methods, Processes, Flows Analysis: Identifies routine work methods/processes/flows to analyze; describes in general terms, process capability studies; describes the basic steps in analysis of data related to people, technology, or information.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) – Engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline – Preferred
