UPS Supply Chain Solutions is currently seeking a Trade Management Analyst (TMA) I to impact the business by mastering import/export regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a Customs Broker License or be currently pursuing a license from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This position offers on the job training in the areas of import/export classification, NAFTA origin verification projects and other FTA eligibility programs, and various customer specific compliance projects.

The TMA I is responsible for coordinating and carrying out all tasks necessary to develop, maintain and maximize established classification/PGA functions. They'll assist in employee training regarding accounts and projects. The TMA I is responsible for providing insight, guidance and other supportive services necessary for classification and/or PGA determination. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Analyzes part data (illustrative literature, drawings, etc.) and audits trail to determine if parts require ADD/CVD & PGA reporting to CBP
• Secures necessary PGA information (product codes, MID's, 510K#'s, listing numbers, etc.) for electronic submission to CBP
• Provides Entry, ADD/CVD & PGA ACE data sets per Partnership Government Agency guidelines for presentation to US Customs
• Maintains PGA logs for monthly statistical reporting and updates internal databases as required
• Makes classification changes based on PGA information received
• Assists with work load management and distribution
• Coordinates daily activities with TMS team members and project supervisor
• Communicates proactively with customers including educating customers on regulatory procedures

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection Regulations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision with a high attention to detail
• Excellent analytical, verbal/written communication, customer service, and time management skills
• 6 months PGA experience
• Customs Brokers License - Preferred
• 6+ months classification experience - Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
• International Trade, Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience - Preferred
• 1 year PGA experience - Preferred
