UPS SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS is currently seeking a DENIED PARTY SCREENER TO WORK 3:30 PM - MIDNIGHT MONDAY - FRIDAY. The ideal candidate will have one year of customer service / general office/ data entry experience.
JOB SUMMARY: This position is for an employee who monitors data keyed into OPSYS, E2K Edge Bazooka and identified as a potential Denied Party that UPS nor UPS' customers can conduct business.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The person in this position monitors data that is extracted from OPSYS, E2K, Edge and Bazooka is filtered through vendor software to identify potential terrorists, terrorist groups, drug traffickers and other parties that the U.S. government had deemed that U.S. businesses should not do business with. The person will be using the vendor software in an effort to ensure that UPS and UPS' customers are following the proper export regulations in this regard. Worldwide communication thru Outlook and via phone to communicate with internal and external customers. Good problem solving skills, reading of government regulations, attention to detail and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Good problem solving skills, the ability to read government regulations, follow a work flow chart while paying attention to detail and the ability to work with minimum supervision. Must have working skills in Word and Excel and typing skills. Must also possess e-mail (Outlook) skills.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS: OPSYS, E2K, Edge and CARES phone training would be a plus, as well as Bazooka. Knowledge of SharePoint would be a plus.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Good communication skills with the ability to make phone calls to UPS facilities globally. Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers via Outlook and phone. Must possess good decision making and organizational skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The Work Environment is an office atmosphere with UPS flexible business attire dress.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: May work holidays and cover vacation shifts with some extra hours. .
