ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The SR. PENTEST ANALYST performs a broad range of complex technical and professional work functions to identify, investigate, analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities. In this role, you will gather and assemble vulnerability data, identifiy remediation plans and report progress to management. You will assist in supporting other InfoSec business solutions including, but not limited to, Firewall/Remote access review, Compliance reporting and Application Penetration testing.
The SR. PENTEST ANALYST with act as a first-level subject matter expert in the domains of vulnerability assessment and remediation. You will frequently identify opportunities to improve existing processes, proactively identify gaps in vulnerability assessment coverage, and take action to close those gaps. You will be responsible to supervise vendor managed vulnerability assessment service providers, identify opportunities for improvement in vendor supplied and domestic vulnerability assessment toolsets. You will also monitor Information Security industry standards to recommend improvements to management, respond and assess security events, assist in the day to day operation of vulnerability assessment using current enterprise technologies, and conduct analysis as directed by management.
