    ABOUT THIS ROLE: The WAREHOUSE MANANAGEMENT SYSTEM (WMS) IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST provides input and support for full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.).  He/She performs tasks within planned durations and established deadlines. This position collaborates with teams to ensure effective communication in supporting the achievement of objectives. He/She provides knowledge, development, maintenance, and support for applications.

    The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer’s business, processes and services and document functional user requirements and facilitate their IT implementations through the project life cycle. Act as a mediator between business, IT solutions and test teams. Participating in reviews of developer, architect and quality assurance deliverables to ensure alignment with documented requirements.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2-4+ years of providing strategic business analysis, development and troubleshooting services to business partners for mid-size to large projects – focused around Warehouse Management systems.
    • Experience with competing WMS systems – GWS Manhattan, Softeon, Exceed or similar systems is a must.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, able to work independently, and be able to multitask.
    • Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
    • Strong planning and organizational skills.
    • Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work well under time constraints.

    Advanced-level proficiency with:

    • Agile Development
    • SQL & PL/SQL
    • XML
    • Troubleshooting skills

    Intermediate-level proficiency with:

    • Requirements Analysis
    • Data Analysis
    • Technical Analysis

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
