The Actor’s Workshop & Repertory Company (Actor’s Rep) is looking for an intern who loves the theatre and the performing arts, possesses business or administration skills, and who is willing to begin immediately. The intern will assist in the management and promotion of the theatre. This will include interacting with artists, performers, supporters and organizational staff.

This is an unpaid role, but candidates may be able to receive college credit by completing this internship. Extensive training will be provided along with guidance and support. As an intern, you will have an opportunity to experience theater production and administration from the inside, and gain valuable work experience in Arts Administration.

Location:

Much of the interns work for Actor’s Rep is done online. Therefore, we have positions available for Virtual Interns who can be located anywhere in the United States. We are also looking for local interns in West Palm Beach, FL where our theatre is located.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor budgets, planning events and performances
• Develop community interest in the organization
• Assist the Managing Director in all areas
• Assist in organizing fundraising events
• Coordinate volunteers
• Conduct research were needed
• Perform other administration tasks
