INTERNAL MANUFACTURING AND ENGINEERING OVERVIEW
Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie’s Experiential Interns.
Our Internal Manufacturing and Engineering group in Worcester, MA has an opening for a motivated intern who is dedicated to the manufacture of biologics. We are the development and launch center for our AbbVie biologics pipeline as well as a strong development and commercial manufacturing center of excellence for third party clients. The intern will learn manufacturing support, data analysis and presentation.
Key responsibilities may include:
Testing equipment
Troubleshooting equipment
Change management documentation
Validation
Process flow mapping
Data visualization / presentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemistry, Biology
Must be enrolled in university during the internship period
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Exposure to cell culture or purification
Familiarity with data analysis, data presentation and statistical software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
