DRUG DELIVERY SCIENCES INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie’s Experiential Interns.

AbbVie’s Drug Delivery Sciences organization is focused on creating innovative and effective solutions for the delivery of AbbVie's therapeutic molecules to patients. In this internship, you will work collaboratively with a diverse scientific team to help advance novel drug delivery platforms for the sustained delivery of new biologics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Designing and executing experiments independently in the laboratory

• Maintaining excellent recordkeeping of experiments and data collection

• Communicating data and project goals/results to a diverse audience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Master's or PhD in Chemistry- Analytical, Biochemistry, Organic or related field

• Must be enrolled in university during the internship period

• Expected graduation between December 2023- August 2025

• Must have experience with the following analytical techniques: LC-MS, NMR

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Exposure to organic chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, biology and/or similar courses

• Experience with HPLC, UV/Vis techniques

• Experience working with biologics
