REGULATORY STRATEGIC WRITING INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie’s Experiential Interns.

Regulatory Strategic Writing (RSW) partners with cross-functional teams to author documents that clearly and concisely communicate AbbVie’s development plans to global Health Authorities. RSW partners with subject matter experts to define a clear strategy, develop robust key messages, and author documents that tell a compelling regulatory story.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Assist in the development of RSW deliverables (eg, responses to questions and briefing books)

• As appropriate, author, edit, and review text for submissions to regulatory agencies and health authorities

• Understand, assimilate, and interpret sources of information (eg, scientific literature, internal and external studies, research documentation, charts, graphs, and tables, and previous interactions with healthcare authorities)

• Help develop RSW best practices and training tools

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science, English, Communications or related field

• Must be enrolled in university during the internship period

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated ability to interpret scientific content and translate for appropriate audience
