EXPLORATORY BIOLOGICS RESEARCH INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie’s Experiential Interns.

The intern will provide laboratory assistance for Precision Medicine Pathology in the development of tissue-based biomarkers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Provide support to antibody-based degradation platform development, including AbTAC, LyTAC, ASPEN/ASSASIN, etc.

• Use FACS, ELISA, WB, WES and imaging to assess the level of target proteins outside of the cell, on the cell surface, and inside the cell.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s, PhD, or PharmD in Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pathology, Molecular Biology, Immunology or other related field

• Must be enrolled in university during the internship period

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Exposure to curriculum in the areas of analytical chemistry and molecular cell biology.

• Experience working with cell culture
