Regulatory Affairs Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) Internship Overview

Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie Interns.

Regulatory Affairs (RA) CMC develops and executes regulatory strategies in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) which use science to tell the story of our products in a clear and compelling way that leads to those products reaching patients quickly. RA CMC is a centralized function that interfaces with R&D and Operations functions within AbbVie for both development programs and marketed products.

We believe successful CMC regulatory strategy includes the use of science to provide a good understanding of products, a transferable manufacturing process, and a regulatory story that generates minimal questions during review.
