    Job Description

    As an RDQA GQC Intern at AbbVie, you will spend your summer engaged with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, gaining world-class experience within one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. You will support the RDQA GQC organization, working collaboratively and strategically with colleagues across R&D.

    The role of RDQA is to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance in all we do.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist RDQA in developing a comprehensive External Engagement Plan that helps position R&D at the forefront of Health Authority and industry trends, ensuring proactive influence and alignment with the latest developments.

    • Analyze and interpret external industry trends, insights, and feedback. Establish a central repository to organize content, identify trends, capture key highlights, and ensure effective connection with RDQA sub-functions.

    • Develop recommendations for external engagement path forward in collaboration with RDQA stakeholders.

    • Engage in professional development and ongoing training to build expertise in clinical quality assurance systems.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical science, pharmacy, computer science, or other related health, scientific or engineering degree

    • Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship

    • Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, collaborating, and presenting information.

    • Analytical skills and the ability to organize work in a logical, thorough and succinct manner.

    • Project management experience is a plus.
