    The Contract Manufacturing Account Specialist supports US AbbVie Contract Manufacturing by closely working with Account Managers to support clients’ request and sales connected. The Contract Manufacturing Account Specialist effectively manages Business Projects with External Clients, clarifying Client requirements, Timelines and Costs. Establishes a flawless relationship with US Manufacturing Plants team to collect activities needed to satisfy client requirement and associated costs. Within Operations, this person will frequently interface with the following functions: Manufacturing, Quality, Program Management, Finance and Technical Operations. RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee the Contract Manufacturing activities with Existing Customers ensuring high quality product is delivered according to the forecast demand.
    • Build a strong network with internal stakeholders especially at Plant level.
    • Must be able to immediately establish high credibility factor and have positive initial impact when meeting with key Customers.
    • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and operations colleagues, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
    • Understands technical capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client
    • Provides regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports to leadership on a weekly basis
    • Able to handle financial data come from different Plants/Customers in order to support LRP/Plan/LBE processes

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BS degree in science (technical required)
    • MBA in Business, Marketing or Finance is preferred
    • 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations
    • Project Management experience preferred
    • Must have strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
    • Excellent communication skills including listening, verbal, and written
    • Must understand the nuances of complex manufacturing processes
    • Must be able to translate customers’ objectives and concerns for product manufactured at AbbVie
    • Demonstrated team player and ability to work in a globally oriented work environment
    • Travel may be required up to 10%-20%
