Chemical Process Development develops processes to make small molecule drug candidates. To support on-going portfolio projects and technology innovation, the engineering intern program focuses on developing the unit operations as well as new technologies and approaches to use fundamental chemical engineering principles to connect product attributes to process conditions.

Summer interns will work with mentors for ~10 weeks on a guided research project within a PD Project Team. The program is organized to ensure that interns gain valuable industry and functional experience, work on challenging assignments, learn about BMS and meet diverse company representatives.

    • An introduction to the GPS and PD organizations
    • Exposure to senior management and business leaders
