    Job Description

    The Compound Management Technician will be responsible for supporting the Compound Management team in the organization and tracking of compounds used in drug discovery and development. This position will work closely with senior Compound Management staff to ensure that all compounds are tracked, stored, and distributed efficiently and accurately.

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Assist with the receipt and logging of new compounds into the electronic inventory system
    • Label and store compounds in appropriate storage conditions
    • Retrieve and distribute compounds upon request from researchers
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compound transactions
    • Support routine compound library maintenance and quality control activities
    • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that compounds are available for research projects in a timely manner

    Qualifications

    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • LIM Software

    Experiences that will make you a strong fit for this role:

    Required:

    • High School/GED is required AND at least 5 years prior technical experience in area(s) of specialty
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels

    Beneficial:

    • Experience with laboratory and/or inventory management systems is a plus
    • Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and liquid handling automation is a plus
