THE DATA OPERATIONS INTERN

This role will work with the Data Operations Lead to support Operations by streamlining various business processes through the design, development, implementation, and support of informatic solutions. This role will leverage computer programming and technologies along with developed business acumen to create innovative solutions that automate data management and reporting and drive efficiencies across the department and the business.

THE ROLE

• Support the development, data collection, analysis, and reporting of departmental metrics and dashboards
• Execute reports and queries for the department and business
• Support the tracking and trending of executional results
• Research technology solutions and potential use cases for emerging technologies
• Synthesize a variety of emerging and core technologies with customer pain points and business needs to develop exciting, customer-centric, value-driving experiences
• Think "outside the box" to provide new perspectives and ideas to solve business challenges
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills to explain concepts clearly and gain alignment from stakeholders
• Work under the direction of a mentor
• Other duties as assigned

THE CANDIDATE

To be eligible for an internship at Catalent, you must meet the following requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in computer science, data analytics or related field
• Eligible to legally work in the United States
• Work full-time (40 hours/week) for a 10-12-week period over the summer
• Proficiency in the modern Microsoft suite, especially Excel, Visual Basic for Applications, SharePoint, and Teams
• Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI
• Familiarity with MS Power Tools (Power Query, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.)
• Experience with databases (e.g. SQL)
• No Physical Requirements
