    This position will report to and support the Vice President, Head of Immunology Clinical Development. We are looking for a dynamic, performance driven, well organized and flexible individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be able to work independently and make decisions on behalf of the leader, in regard to calendar and travel events, as well as understand how to work professionally and effectively with matrix teams.

    • Perform highly diverse and complex administrative functions, including but not limited to proactive calendar management, domestic and international travel arrangements, preparing expense reports
    • Support the senior members of the clinical development team with key administrative functions.
    • Responsible for the organization and planning of complex and sometimes remote meetings across multiple time zones
    • Interface in a professional manner with BMS employees, including senior executives and matrix team members, as well as ability to work in a group setting with the other administrative staff.
    • Handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate diplomacy and excellent judgment dealing with sensitive situations
    • Be knowledgeable about leaders’ people-management responsibilities and the activities that enable leaders to effectively perform their personnel-related responsibilities
    • Anticipate key issues and implement action plans based on changing priorities and commitments. Be able and willing to adapt to constant change and to quickly course correct when necessary
    • Exhibit a positive work attitude, high productivity and a collaborative approach with other employees, including colleagues across functions and other divisions.
    • Work with the more senior assistants to prioritize activities and take action based on an understanding of department objectives, customer needs and BMS business strategies

    Requirements

    • Successful candidate must possess at least 5 years of administrative experience with significant experience supporting a senior leader
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and organizing skills in dealing with all levels of management internally and externally; working collaboratively with other executive assistants
    • Must possess the ability to take initiative and adapt to frequently changing priorities
    • Strong communication skills including excellent verbal and written skills
    • Proactive, solution-oriented approach and collaborative
    • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Concur, Purchasing systems SharePoint and WorkDay
    • Ability to prioritize and support multiple executives at the same time
