POSITION SUMMARY
The BMS Finance/Accounting Internship is a summer 2023 paid internship program (roughly a 10 week program) seeking a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting can gain significant invaluable internship work experience in the BMS Global Finance community. Additionally, interns will work in a hybrid work environment where they will work in-person half of the week and working remotely the rest of the week. Interns are provided the opportunity to work in one of the following BMS Finance/Accounting departments in central New Jersey:
Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis
Research & Development
Treasury Operations
Controllers
The Intern is expected to assist in various finance and accounting related projects. Special projects may include quarterly earnings preparation, process flows, and other integration initiatives. Experiences gained include PowerPoint, excel, enhanced communication and presentation skills, project organization, and project optimization and research.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist team in integration initiatives, gathering information necessary to assess and determine
Assist with collecting, collating, and storing integration work product
Assist with financial processes and quarterly earnings preparation
Analyze data and process flows to streamline information flow
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on business, with a concentration in Finance/Accounting.
Self-starter and demonstrated analytical and logical skills with a focus on tangible deliverables.
Strong communication, organizational skills, ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Project Management.
