A FINANCIAL ANALYST’S PRIMARY ROLE IS TO SUPPORT THE ACCOUNTING/FINANCE FUNCTION BY PERFORMING ANALYSIS OF THE FINANCIAL AND NON-FINANCIAL DATA AND GENERATING MICROSOFT EXCEL MODELS TO HELP TRACK THE PROGRESS OF COMPANY GOALS AND IDENTIFY VITAL TRENDS AND PATTERNS.

THIS IS A FULLTIME ROLE WORKING DAYS; MONDAY - FRIDAY. THIS ROLE WILL WORK REMOTE AND WILL REQUIRE LIMITED TRAVEL TO THE OFFICE. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL LIKELY BE LOCATED WITHIN 4 HOURS DRIVE OF THE SITE IN BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA.

THE ROLE:

• Perform regular or ad-hoc financial reporting and analytics

• Organize and summarize data into meaningful reports

• Routinely communication cross-functionally with cost center leaders

• Prepare budgets and financial reports,including cash flow reports

• Evaluate and analyze financial and operating reports and forecasts

• Data Analyst Responsibilities

  • Extract and evaluate data from databases

  • Normalize data from various sources

  • Design reports based on trend analysis andcritical metrics

• Other duties as assigned

THE CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance preferred); Master’s degree preferred

• 2-5 years of experience in complex Financial Analysis & Reporting

• 2 + years of advanced use of Microsoft Excel

• Experience with SOX

• ERP experience (JDE preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
