Global Transportation Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

• Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for Supply Chain, Business Development, Project Management and Client Services teams in the areas of global import/export, cold chain, transportation, and logistics
• Manage transportation tools including import / export knowledge database, courier quote tool, courier complaint database, and reference portals
• Lead for Courier data feeds and technology projects, manage and maintain department database and SharePoint sites including Power Apps and Power Automate
• Support the relationships with Third Party Couriers to provide Global KPI data
• Participate in Courier governance reviews as required
• Participate in proposal development and client meetings as required
• Assist internal Procurement teams with Courier contract negotiations as required
• Advise and answer queries from internal teams regarding shipment requirements and strategy
• Provide support across CSS sites to align site transport processes, best practices, courier usage, and document harmonization
• Assist external clients with inquiries and shipments as required
• Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma is required
• 1+ year of global transportation, logistics or Import/Export experience
• 1+ year of experience working with Third Party transport vendors
• Knowledge and experience in Dangerous Goods or Controlled Drug
• Advanced level of experience with Excel and SharePoint including Power Apps and Power Automate
• Familiar with writing Javascript, HTML, and CSS code
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to handle multiple projects
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong team player with the ability to function well in a matrix environment
• This is a remote role. Candidates can be located anywhere within the United States. Some travel to customers and Catalent Sites is required
