Position Summary

Seeking an intern to work with the BMS Research and Early Development IT Delivery group. Our team focuses on rapid solution delivery and digital innovation to support drug discovery research.  The intern will be embedded into teams working on fast-paced short-term projects.  Some of the project examples: Alexa Echo Show in Lab environment PoC; Spotfire scientific data dashboard; AI imaging platform; Scientific No-Code/Low-Code platforms, etc.

In addition to gaining valuable experience working with a dynamic team in a corporate setting, they will also be able to work with cutting-edge digital technologies to support drug discovery and research.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical evaluation of cutting edge innovative digital solution Proof of Concepts (PoC)
• Research scientific digital solutions and literature for targeted information
• Utilize Agile and Design Thinking methodologies to document and improve procedure, proven patterns, and delivered results
• Deliver a formal presentation at the end of the internship

Qualifications & Experience

• Current student pursing a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud engineering and environment
• Experience with create or adopt AI/ML solutions preferred
• Curiosity and innovative mindset
• Work effectively in a team environment
