    POSITION SUMMARY

    Work closely with IT Business Partners in Global Manufacturing Operations supporting Process Robustness, which consists of using analytical technologies to support the analysis and monitoring of manufacturing quality and performance indicator, to initiate process improvements, and to provide better process control and low process variability through reduction of out-of-specification instances.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Candidate will work with the GPS IT Business Partnering team, specifically in the Manufacturing Technology and Process Robustness, assisting in the development of business cases and project schedule, documenting key requirements for new demand, and creating project reports for stakeholders and leadership team. Candidate will also learn some of BMS manufacturing and process intelligence tools used within the organization.

    Other activities will involve assisting with Software Lifecycle management, building team's repository in SharePoint, database development, supporting validation and qualification activities in a regulated environment, developing POCs, and generating reports to present team's metrics and results.

    WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

    Key learnings will include:

    • Building effective executive reports for Leadership Team
    • Understanding of BMS Manufacturing processes
    • Understanding of Software Lifecycle Management and System Integration
    • Understanding of GPS Data Lake architecture

  • Qualifications
    • Great communication and analytical skills
    • Be a creative thinker with experience developing business cases and project schedules
    • Knowledge of Manufacturing and Supply Chain management such as Six Sigma and Lean development.
    • Hands-on experience with Database and software development is a plus

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Candidates must be available for an internship that will run from June 2022- May 2023
    • Candidates must be available to be able to commute to the BMS- Tampa, FL location for the year internship (Up to 40 hours per week in summer and up to 20 hours per week in fall & spring)
    • Candidates must be actively enrolled in school during the internship with a graduation date of May 2023 or later
