ITQM Supplier Assessments Intern (June 2022- May 2023)

POSITION SUMMARY
IT Quality Management is accountable to ensure, drive and enable the delivery of quality and compliant digital capabilities.
Ensure compliance of BMS' policies and legal and regulatory requirements to protect patient and consumer safety, ensure product quality and data integrity, and secure proprietary and private information
Drive operational quality with defined quality frameworks and processes; using risk-based controls assessments
The intern will provide support to the ITQM Controls and Monitoring team on their supplier assessment and monitoring activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Supplier Assessment Leads by:
Contacting suppliers to secure an assessment date.
Updating and maintaining the Supplier Assessment schedule accordingly.
With the assistance of the Assessment Lead, provide additional pre-assessment information as requested by the supplier.
Provide support to the Assessment Lead during the Supplier Assessments and/or internal controls monitoring IT General Controls testing.
Provide testing conclusions and observations/recommendations to the Assessment Lead.
Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) module record creation and maintenance:
Create new vendors records including the vendor's contact information.
Create and/or provide support for new Risk/Tiering records and gathering corresponding information about the products/services being provided by the vendor.
Overall:
Lead a minimum of one assessment during the internship.
Become familiar with current projects impacting the ITQM Controls and Monitoring team.
Work on the improvement of current processes.

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business major with a strong technology background or related field required and at minimum, successful completion of first year.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must be available for an internship that will run from June 2022- May 2023
Candidates must be available to be able to commute to the BMS- Tampa, FL location for the year internship (Up to 40 hours per week in summer and up to 20 hours per week in fall & spring)
Candidates must be actively enrolled in school during the internship with a graduation date of May 2023 or later
