    Position Summary

    The TM Preclinical Imaging laboratories utilize state-of-science medical imaging technologies to understand the molecular biology of a wide range of diseases including oncology, immunology, cardiovascular, and fibrosis and deepen our understanding of how medicines work in the body to treat and eradicate human disease.  

    During this summer internship you will gain experience in all facets of preclinical imaging across multimodalities including PET, SPECT, CT, MRI, Optical, etc. Your summer internship project will be heavily research based with hands-on application including assisting with designing and executing an imaging study. You will gain experience in learning and assisting in image acquisition and can assist with data analysis to characterize disease progression, tissue target engagement, and/or demonstrate mechanism of action of BMS proprietary therapeutics. You will be involved with the Imaging group to collaborate both on the preclinical and clinical team. As well as a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of biomedical engineers, chemists, biologists, and clinicians while learning how to leverage imaging to advance early discovery and translational research in drug development. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Includes in-vivo lab work to assist with executing preclinical imaging studies
    • Presenting work in a group setting

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Research experience
    • Laboratory experience
    • Familiar with EXCEL and PowerPoint, GraphPad Prism a plus
    • Familiar with in-vivo work a plus
    • Currently pursuing a BS in a relevant scientific discipline
    • Entering Junior year or above in the Fall of 2022
