    The Device and Packaging Technology team at Bristol Myers Squibb is looking for a talented and ambitious student to join our team and help us with the branding, marketing, and communication of our group to internal stakeholders. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about BioPharma manufacturing, science, and technologies from a world industry leader. You will also get to interact with teams responsible for developing and manufacturing lifesaving medicines for patients with serious illnesses.

    As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding the branding and promotion of our key programs for a wider internal BMS audience, creating exposure and interest in our work, and disseminating important information about our group to stakeholders. You will also be responsible for writing internal news releases, arranging interviews, and managing organizational communications. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead a project with a cross-functional team and develop a marketing mix strategy the Device and Packaging Technology group.

    Position: Branding, marketing, and communication of our group to internal stakeholders in BMS

    Key Responsibilities

    • Expand the branding and promotion of key programs for wider internal BMS audience.
    • Create exposure, cultivate interest, and disseminate information about Device and Packaging Technology to internal stakeholders
    • Writing internal news releases, arranging interviews and managing organizational communications
    • Lead project with cross functional STEM team.
    • Develop marketing mix strategy for Device and Packaging Technology contributions to BMS.
    • Launch marketing campaign for Device and Packaging Technology.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Candidates must be a rising junior, senior or master’s student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university seeking an undergraduate degree or master’s degree in public relations, organizational behavior, management, marketing, advertising, marketing communications, or similar and continuing their education for the following semester (e.g. Fall 2024).
    • Must possess an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher – please include overall GPA on your resume.
    • Individual with interest to work in the office, networking with stakeholders
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Preferred computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint, Yammer, graphical design, MS Teams.
    • Candidate must be a US citizen, a lawful permanent resident of the US or otherwise authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
    • Must be eligible to work full-time, 40 hours per week, from June – August 2024.
