    Position Summary

    This position is for a 3-year postdoctoral fellowship as part of a world-class research team, centered upon the utilizing novel CRISPR technologies to identify disease biology and drug targets, at single cell resolution.  The successful applicant will focus on developing novel technologies to assess the effects of genetic perturbation in cancer models through the modulation of gene expression. The position offers unique exposure to cutting-edge research in a biopharmaceutical industry setting, with mentorship from experienced wet-lab and computational biologists.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop novel CRISPR-based single cell genomic technology platforms

    • Adapt and enhance existing analysis frameworks for single cell RNA-seq studies

    • Work as part of a team on novel assay and protocol development

    • Forge impactful collaborations with members of diverse disease research teams at BMS

    Qualifications & Experience

    • PhD degree in Biological Sciences or related field

    • Strong publication record in genomics research

    • Track record of hands-on experience developing genomics technologies to gain novel insights

    • Strong understanding of Next Generation Sequencing platforms

    • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to understand and analyze complex genomic datasets  

    • Expertise in algorithmic implementation and data manipulation using Python or R
