    Position Summary

    This is unique opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in biotechnology project management and will provide experiential education with opportunity to support global manufacturing and sciences (GMS&T) projects enabling efficient communication and collaboration strategies across the organization and functional groups. 

    A successful project/program coordinator is an individual who is an excellent project planner with the ability to develop and maintain strong team relationships even under stress and hard deadlines. The candidate will work closely with the project manager and technical teams to lead the project/programs through major organizational milestones and goals in the field of Cell therapy. The candidate will be actively participating in development of detailed project plans, tracking project plan execution against established targets, identifying, and facilitating resolution of issues, and communication of the project status. He/She will promote a culture of cooperation, execution excellence, and cross-functional problem-solving to enable a high-performing team.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    -       Organize, attend and participate in project execution meetings -       Document meeting minutes, key decisions and follow-up on action items -       Ensure key stakeholder updates and LT updates are communicated on time. -       Prepare necessary presentation materials for project execution meetings. -       Maintain execution project/program schedule, track progress and generate project timeline Gantt charts and tableau visuals -       Work closely with the project manager to identify next execution steps, support operational activities, issue resolution, risk escalation and help build a strong tiered communication structure. -       Assist the project manager in management of project risk registers with provision of forums/channels for monitoring and re-assessing risks as the project progresses to meet its milestones. -   Proactively identify project/program risks and work with the team to develop contingency plans -       Develop best practices for project planning within the cell therapy GMS&T network and ensure consistency in project plans across various programs. -       Manage project/program SharePoint sites. -       Serve as a member of functional sub-teams, tracking timeline elements to ensure that functional deliverables are completed on time and according to relevant quality standards -       Provide administrative support, as needed and assist in project execution activities.

    Qualifications & Experience

    -       Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, biology, engineering or related field of study. -       Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. -       Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. -       Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project -       Experience in Smartsheets, OnePager pro, Visio, Tableau is a plus. -       Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. -       Demonstrated team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
