The goal of the Pfizer R&D Rotational Program is to grow Pfizer’s pipeline of R&D talent with promising science, technology and math (STEM) college graduates, with a focus on students with demonstrated commitment and ability to advance diversity, equity and inclusion for Black/African American, Latino/Hispanic and Native Americans, to shape the future of science and healthcare. This in-depth training and skills development program offers graduates the opportunity to gain experience and insight into drug discovery and development from leading scientists, clinicians, statisticians, epidemiologists and professionals, and to bridge from student to industry professional, or into an advanced-degree program.
The Pfizer R&D Rotational Program is a two-year program. Participants will be immersed into the pharmaceutical business through four unique 6- month job rotations in diverse R&D disciplines. Each rotation will involve meaningful assignments and projects, mentorship and coaching, and collaborative interactions to develop business acumen and technical expertise and set them on the path to a pharmaceutical career.

Types of Experiences:
Laboratory and non-laboratoryexperiences are dependenton background andinterest.There is a wide range of opportunitiesforeach 6 month rotation.Examplesinclude:
Assay development and analysis to discover new targets and pathways in diseaseareas.
Gene therapy, DNA and RNA vaccine development.
Single cell and spatial transcriptomics for characterizing gene expression in human and animal disease tissue.
Mid-to- late stage clinical trial design and execution.
Artificial intelligence and digital medicine.
Project planning, regulatory operations,global product labelling management, and US advertising and promotions.
Partnership with project teams working on early drug discovery to late stage clinical trialwork.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degreerequired
Degree in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biology), Computer Science or Data Science preferred
Strong academic performance (minimum 3.3GPA)
No more than 2 years full-time continuous work experienceafter graduation
Demonstrated commitment and ability to advance diversity, equity and inclusion for Black/African American, Latino/Hispanic and Native Americans at Pfizer, in particular growing the pipeline of Black/African American, Latino/Hispanic and Native Americans at Pfizer
Non-Technical Skills Preferred :

WORK AUTHORIZATION
Other Job Details:
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $53,100.00 to $88,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 7.5% of the base salary. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Pfizer compensation structures and benefit packages are aligned locally, the US Salary range provided does not apply to the Tampa, FL or any EXUS locations.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
