Position Summary / Purpose of the Role
- Engages as a key thought partner and trusted advisor to the WW Camzyos Commercial Team across integrated scope of the Business Insights & Analytics partnership.
- Provides oversight to the full BIA integrated book-of-work (forecasting, market research, analytics) across myeloma indications, triaging requests and negotiating trade-offs according to business priorities.
- Inspires and coaches peers and contractors to deliver best-in-class BIA integrated functional deliverables against priorities.
- Establishes aspirational, yet defendable revenue expectations across products and markets. Ensures full transparency around business risks & opportunities and identifies actionable levers to activate commercial potential.
- Embeds BIA capabilities into business decision-making to drive commercial success. Ensures BIA capabilities are delivered effectively and efficiently, with urgency, agility, innovation and a growth mindset, while upholding intellectual and company integrity.
- Partners collaboratively with BIA matrix teams, WW Commercial partners, contractors, and Commercial BIA LT to deliver integrated insights on the full range of key business questions to inform annual and long-term strategic plans.
Roles & Responsibilities
Stakeholder Partnership :
- Provide day-to-day strategic guidance and support to maximize the Commercial potential of the Myeloma portfolio
- Develop BIA plans and budgets aligned to business needs through collaboration with stakeholders and other BIA team members. Proactively partner to identify knowledge gaps/needs, shape and properly define research/analytics questions to address business issues. Actively eliminate low value activities, and continuously re-evaluate the prioritization and focus of the team to drive the business forward on highest priorities, while creating synergies and eliminating duplication.
- Provide real-time scenario assessments around the evolving internal/external environments including interplay with other assets in the portfolio; generate and dynamically maintain long range forecasts in support of critical decisions across the organization to drive portfolio strategy and optimization.
- Consistently deliver timely customer-centric insights, analytics and market perspectives that unlock growth potential and create competitive advantage. Influence the pull-through of insights to action on the business in service of developing and delivering more medicines, to more patients, faster.
- Partner seamlessly with US and WW markets to share customer & market insights, provide budget guidance, create and adjust targets; simplify and streamline the movement of short & long term assumptions, models and revenues. Develop best practices across the globe for virtual teams and sharing of knowledge.
- Work with BIA, Commercial and Finance LT members to shape the internal/external company narrative by providing key data points, timely customer insights and strategic market perspective for quarterly earnings calls, investor conferences and other key external events.
Commercial BIA Team Leadership and Functional Expertise:
- Lead the team in the application of innovative and industry-leading forecasting and market research methodologies. Ensure the quality of deliverables and integration of insights across functional methods to fully address key business questions.
- Support a single high-performing culture across the new WW Commercialization BIA team. Demonstrate strong collaboration, capability of adapting to the dynamic needs of the business. Champion a global culture of diversity & inclusion.

Requirements
Experience:
- Degree/Certification: BA/BS in relevant functional discipline required; MBA or MS/MA preferred
- 3+ years relevant work experience in bio-pharmaceuticals across multiple therapeutic areas for Senior Manager
- 5+ years relevant work experience in bio-pharmaceuticals across multiple therapeutic areas for Associate Director
- Prior strategy/consulting experience
Competencies/Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to influence Commercial decisions across a wide variety of business contexts: US, Global, and/or International markets; Brands at all lifecycle stages (early development, pre-launch, launch, growth, mature/LOE); Various competitive/market contexts
- Mastery of market research methods (e.g., behavioral science and qualitative/quantitative techniques) and state-of-the-art Analytics/Forecasting tools and models applied to complex business areas. Versatility with corresponding software, models, and analytical tools to effectively and efficiently deliver book-of-work.
- Highly collaborative and proven effectiveness in influencing in a global organization with a complex matrix of stakeholders and markets
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills delivered with polished, strategic, executive-level presence
- Proven ability to innovate and operate with agility and speed
