    Overview

    If you’re a college student, Pfizer Futures is your chance to gain real-world, impactful work experience for 10-12 weeks during the summer. This U.S. program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to grow and develop into the next Pfizer Colleague. 

    With opportunities across the Enterprise, Pfizer Futures interns will support their division’s goals and initiatives while building relationships and learning about Pfizer. 

    The 2026 Pfizer Futures application portal will be open from October 1st to October 31st, 2025. 

    Applications and placements for this program are reviewed on a rolling basis. Interview and hiring timelines differ by division.  

    Responsibilities

    Pfizer’s Legal and Compliance groups play a critical role in enabling Pfizer’s mission by providing strategic counsel, managing enterprise risk, and upholding the company’s core value: “Trust is Everything.” These groups contribute to a wide range of initiatives that ensure Pfizer operates with integrity, accountability, and in full compliance with global regulations.

    Legal/Compliance project responsibilities may include, (but are not limited to): 

    • Assist the Privacy Team in reviewing contracts, conducting privacy assessments, and developing policies to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Support the Litigation Team by routing summonses and complaints, assisting with claims handling, and conducting document review and legal research.
    • Collaborate with the Employment Law/Immigration Team on corporate immigration matters and employment eligibility verification (I-9 and E-Verify).
    • Work with the Intellectual Property Team to prepare data summaries, analyze scientific articles and patent references, and assist with patent landscape reviews 
    • Contribute to the Pricing & Access Team through impactful research projects that support strategic decision-making.
    • Partner with the Global Investigations Team to support casework and collaborate with compliance attorneys, legal analysts, and other stakeholders.
    • Assist Strategic Operations with project management, ESG initiatives, risk analytics, communications, quality management systems, and continuous improvement efforts.
    • Support the Global Programs Team in developing tools, policies, training, and monitoring systems to address key risk areas.
    • Support the Compensation & Benefits Team on analysis, implementation and administration of programs, policies, payroll, claims, audits, litigation and communications relating to employees.
    • Collaborate with Commercial Compliance and Science, Medicine, and Manufacturing Compliance Teams to provide proactive risk management and promote a culture of integrity across Pfizer’s business units.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. This Program cannot support applicants who require employer sponsored visas now or in the future
    • Be an undergraduate student enrolled in a full-time university program (an accredited college / university degree program at the time of award) 
    • Be at least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
    • Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA as of the most recently completed semester
    • Be able to commute to a Pfizer location 4+ days a week

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.

    In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.

    Pay Rate Range: $26/hr to $29/hr
