    Position Summary

    The US Medical Affairs Team provides scientific knowledge along with integrated evidence planning to drive strategy forward and work closely with Global Medical Affairs and other cross-functional Teams.

    DESCRIPTION:

    Seeking a highly motivated professional to join the US Medical Myeloid, Medical Affairs organization who embodies a can-do mindset, possesses strong written and oral communication skills, and able to think analytically and strategically in a collaborative, collegial environment. The incumbent will be detail-oriented and results focused in a fast-paced environment.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Medical Affairs colleagues to assist in generation and execution of therapeutic area strategy and tactics with appropriate oversight and use of resources within the Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) landscape. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can work with a high degree of autonomy, in a dynamic environment utilizing creative problem-solving skills

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support members of the Myeloid Disease team as necessary for various medical activities and cross-functional working groups

    • Creates and monitors project plan and timelines; Tracks key milestones

    • Supports business practices and the successful execution of key initiatives

    • Track and coordinate cross-functional Medical Affairs tactics in US Disease Plans, as well as needs to allow strategy updates

    • Support the partnership with Scientific Communications on developing Disease publication strategy, gap analysis, and key messaging

    • Makes recommendations on identified areas of opportunity

    • Additional responsibilities will depend on the Intern’s skillset and previous experience

       

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Students or recent graduates obtaining basic or Advanced degree (BS, MS, PharmD, PhD or others) in molecular biology, genomics, cancer biology or other relevant life sciences area

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required 

    • Understands how to communicate key issues and actions in a way that drives decisions and outcomes

    • Proficient in technology

    • Time and priority management and excellent attention to detail is required

    • Ability to work independently and effectively
