  • Responsibilities

    Come to Camp Pontiac as a Lacrosse Counselor! We are a premier co-ed sleepaway camp in the NY Berkshires. This is an excellent position for a student who played high school varsity lacrosse or currently is a college lacrosse player (varsity, junior varsity or club) looking for a fun way to spend the summer! We offer:

    Approximately two hours from both NYC and Boston; approximately 500 boys and girls ranging in age from 7 to 16 from mid-June through mid-August. Responsibilities and requirements include:

    • Coordinate and facilitate lacrosse program - instructing, teaching, & refereeing - for the camp
    • Work with experienced 2x All-American Lacrosse Program Head and other counselors
    • Live and work at camp
  • Qualifications

    We hire candidates who played on a varsity high school team and/or college varsity, junior varsity or club team. Child care experience and/or college majors including elementary ed, secondary ed, special ed or physical ed is a plus.

  • Desired skills

    College lacrosse player at the varsity, junior varsity or club level who loves to work with children.

  • Compensation
    $2300 - $3000 plus travel, meals, & lodging included.
  • Benefits

    $300 travel + bonus. Daily meals, snacks, and overnight lodging included as are transportation for day trips on your days off and nights out.
