RSM has openings for business-minded individuals to join our Business Applications (BA) practice as a ServiceNow Consulting Associate. ServiceNow is a cloud-based enterprise workflow management tool that helps organizations define, manage, automate, and structure their services. Our BA Practice works with our clients’ executive leadership teams to achieve their business objectives through innovative solutions that align people, processes, and technology. As a Consulting Associate, you will receive mentoring from our experienced team and have access to a variety of technology and training to jump-start your career.    

The position begins with a 6-week investment in new hires in the form of a classroom training, where Associates are exposed to and immersed in the ServiceNow ecosystem and our project methodology. Upon completion of that coursework, Associates will return to their home office where they will be assigned client project teams and begin contributing to our practice.

 Core Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Assist in requirements and design workshops with clients to assess their current state of existing systems, business processes and challenges, and factor into ServiceNow solution design and suggested business process improvements  
• Work collaboratively with internal and client project teams to document and refine client requirements (agile stories) 
• Work collaboratively with functional experts to design and configure various ServiceNow modules to meet the client’s needs  
• Work with implementation team to create and execute testing scenarios in ServiceNow  
• Assist with data migrations from existing systems to ServiceNow as needed 
• Assist in training end users on how to effectively use ServiceNow features within the context of their daily jobs  
• Provide Level 1 support for client issues and questions, taking a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and providing resolution  
• Maintain curiosity in understanding client needs; begin learning about RSM’s additional services and how to spot potential opportunities that will bring additional value to clients

Basic Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Operations, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related field required  
• Ability to travel 10 - 30%  
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred  
• -Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively   
• Must be a team player and be able to effectively interact with staff at all levels of RSM  
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills  
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable), and willingness to continually improve those skills 
• Ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms  
• A desire to work in the technology industry with a growing company and a diverse client base

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Basic understanding of IT business processes and concepts in process design 
• Relevant, hands-on, work-related experience with enterprise-level software platforms in a consulting environment through an internship or other relevant experience
