    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide assistance for time-sensitive and proprietary tasks for assigned leadership team members as requested. 

    • Assist assigned leadership with ongoing projects and deliverables

    • Leveraging knowledge of assigned practice, support leadership in execution of strategic or tactical imperatives

    • Start to develop an understanding of solution offerings and relationships with supporting leadership.

    • Liaise with internal organizations (human resources, finance, marketing, sales) to develop, implement and maintain efficient and effective support processes in support of leadership imperatives

    • Be a resource to assigned teams, fielding questions, liaising with team members to share best practices, promoting efficiency and standardization 

    • In conjunction with assigned leadership, support the definition of project scope and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Support leadership to manage project objectives, schedule, resources and deliverables. 

    • Create and update project plans

    • In conjunction with assigned leadership, develop leadership meeting objectives and agendas, document meeting outcomes, and follow up on related action items 

    • Work with leadership to coordinate risk mitigation, process improvement, communication, and support needs affecting the successful delivery of client solutions.

    • Other duties as assigned

    AN INVESTMENT IN YOUR FUTURE

    Acceptance and satisfactory completion of the RSM Excellence Academy Internship will result in:

    • Support for your temporary relocation and/or housing during your internship, you will also receive a one-time stipend of $5,000 (less applicable taxes) payable on your first pay period after commencement of your internship. 

    • A formal offer to join RSM’s client service internship program the following year

    PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Applicants should be two years from graduation and full-time employment and have participated in the RSM Excellence Academy Summer Leadership Conference

    • Pursuing, or interested in, a degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, technology, or engineering, or related field

    • Strong preference for membership in organizations committed to racial diversity and inclusiveness such as NABA, Black Student Union, or National Panhellenic Council

    • Be in good academic standing

    • Be a team player who is motivated to work in a fast-paced environment 

    • Show a desire to be client focused

    • Possess strong communication skills
