    KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Associate for our Cyber Security Services practice in Consulting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Produce high quality deliverables and thorough documentation including process flow charts, presentations, policies and/or procedural documents

    • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis leveraging client, firm and/or industry data

    • Support project management activities by assessing and reporting status, tracking deliverables, coordinating action items and capturing meeting minutes

    • Support client facing presentations and meetings by preparing meeting materials, speaking to all or some of the agenda topics and capturing outcomes

    • Research and understand cyber security related topics, concepts, tools and processes to support client delivery

    • Support the advancement of customer facing service offerings through prototyping industry leading tools and processes, refining frameworks and approaches and standardization of delivery

    Qualifications:

    • Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months: Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems and Technology, Computer Science, System Analysis, Applied Technology Management, Business & Computer Information, Technology Marketing, Cyber Security or equivalent program from an accredited college or university

    • Coursework or knowledge of common Cyber Security related technologies such as desktop and server operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX), Active Directory, cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCS), fundamental networking concepts (TCPIP suite of protocols, firewalls, routing and switching), virtualization platforms (VMWare) and development (.Net and Java in particular)

    • Basic experience or familiarity with Cyber security principles, technologies and common risk mitigation approaches such as identity and access management, privileged access management, GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) and IT General Controls (ITGC)

    • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above

    • Strong technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook with a general understanding of data analysis techniques

    • Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work

    • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
