    KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Associate for our Lighthouse practice in Consulting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work as part of a client-facing KPMG team to assess, capture and translate complex business issues and requirements into a structured digital transformation use case (utilizing emerging technologies) including rapid learning of industry/domain/client dynamics and development of effective work stream plans

    • Help KPMG clients understand the broader Digital journey and implications and participate in the process of designing the solution and developing a strategy

    • Participate in work streams within the team by developing, implementing and testing digital solutions, contributing to proof of concepts/prototypes/pilots and organizing and communicating progress, issues and results

    • Contribute to KPMG client and market information gathering through interviews, surveys, workshops and market research; continuously develop knowledge of emerging technologies such as Internet of Things, 5G, Digital Twins, Quantum Computing, AR/VR and crypto currencies to help clients understand the business benefit and deployment of these technologies

    • Leverage digital technologies to help clients better understand how technology can help clients to achieve their ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) goals and objectives creating a more sustainable future

    • Understand and articulate technology options available in the digital landscape including but not limited to data management and manipulation, analytics development, requirements, product engineering, cyber security, product design, project management and low code platforms and preferences for visualizations within sector of specialty

    Qualifications:

    • Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months; Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, IT related engineering, Information Technology, Product Design, Data Science or equivalent quantitative program from an accredited college or university

    • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above

    • Technology enthusiast with a passion for digital and emerging technologies (Blockchain, AI, Quantum Computing, IoT)

    • Ability to explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to businesspeople and explain business processes, concepts, challenges and issues to technical resources

    • Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work

    • Outstanding project management skills and openness to support diverse and cross-functional projects

    • Familiarity with a wide range of innovation and technology methodologies and tools

    • Strong technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset, critical thinking and quantitative skills and ability to navigate common tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack)

    • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
