    KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Intern, Consulting for our Advisory practice

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct structured research, data analysis and problem solving (quantitative and qualitative) to generate insights, test hypotheses and develop recommendations that support client strategies, operations, finance, technology, risk and transformation initiatives
    • Support end-to-end project delivery by assisting with project management tasks such as tracking risks and issues, coordinating deliverables, preparing documentation and contributing to clear, client ready presentations and reports
    • Design and implement business processes, technology and organizational improvements, participating in activities such as process mapping, operating model design, technology enablement, change management, solution testing and implementation across functions (finance, supply chain, HR, customer, IT, cybersecurity and more)
    • Leverage modern technologies and tools including cloud platforms (Oracle, Workday, SAP), automation, AI/ML, data visualization, workflow tools (ServiceNow, Appian and more) and cybersecurity frameworks to support solution development, drive digital transformation or risk mitigation for clients
    • Support multidisciplinary teams with an open mindset, working with stakeholders to align objectives, share findings, cocreate solutions and ensure successful delivery of client outcomes
    • Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights while operating with professionalism, integrity and adaptability in client facing or team-based environments

    Qualifications

    • Must be enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program from an accredited college or university, with a dual concentration in business and technology or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
    • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above
    • Experience in applying Generative AI in a data-driven context, including proficiency in prompt engineering to uncover insights and create data narratives; ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance and bias, ensuring responsible and effective use in a business setting
    • Critical thinking and quantitative skills, strong technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset and ability to navigate MS Office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Outlook) and other tools with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
    • Excellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, organizational and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work
    • Applicant must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership
    • Work location will be in the office or at client sites depending on business need, you must be located within the U.S. when working remotely; client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay; applicants should be available to work in person five days a week if needed
