KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Intern for our Cyber Security Services practice in Consulting.
Support the delivery of high quality deliverables and thorough documentation using process flow charts, presentations, policies and/or procedural documents
Assist with quantitative and qualitative analysis leveraging client, firm and/or industry data
Support project management activities by building status reports, tracking deliverables, coordinating action items and capturing meeting minutes
Research and understand cyber security related topics, concepts, tools and processes to support client delivery
Support internal innovation projects by researching new emerging technologies, documenting outcomes and activity coordination
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors: Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems and Technology, Computer Science, System Analysis, Applied Technology Management, Business & Computer Information, Technology Marketing, Cyber Security or equivalent program
Coursework or knowledge of common Cyber Security related technologies such as desktop and server operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX), Active Directory, cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCS), fundamental networking concepts (TCPIP suite of protocols, firewalls, routing and switching), virtualization platforms (VMWare) and development (.Net and Java in particular)
Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above
Strong technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset, critical thinking and quantitative skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
