KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Intern- Environmental for our Environmental, Social, Governance & Climate Advisory practice within Deal Advisory & Strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of amultidisciplinary team across a range of industries to provide companies withclimate risk, decarbonization, ESG due diligence, energy transition, and otherrelated services
• Review/analyzecorporate activities and develop recommendations related to enhancing theirsustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related reporting
• Work withengagement teams to perform fieldwork, including data collection and analysis,presentation preparation, proofreading, and other narrative support
• Support clientrelationships, business development, and thought leadership efforts

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Sustainability, Business, Environmental Engineering, Climate Science, Physical Sciences, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
• Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above
• Ability to help solve complex problems in a team-oriented environment, service orientation and cognitive flexibility
• Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work
• Strong technical aptitude and critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Knowledge of, GHG emissions accounting, climate risk assessment and climate scenario analysis a plus; experience with data analytics & visualization preferred
• Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership
• Work location may be in the office, at client sites or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
