    KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Intern for our Federal Lighthouse/Platforms practice in Consulting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Help to craft elegant solutions to complex user problems with the ability to balance user and business needs while working with a cross-functional team

    • Support in varying agile phases of design and discovery, project and business goals with teammates and stakeholders

    • Help throughout design discovery to develop, execute and analyze user research studies including interviews, Human-Centered Design (BCD) interviews, card sorting, surveys and usability testing

    • Assist in creation of user experience, visual and service design artifacts such as user personas, information architecture, high-fidelity wireframes and visual designs, customer experience maps, data visualization graphics and functional prototypes

    • Liaise with team members to create presentation materials, graphics and custom illustrations

    • Manage ambiguity in processes and connect the dots between disparate ideas, while delivering work within deadlines

    Qualifications:

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors or Masters degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university

    • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above

    • Strong technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset, critical thinking and quantitative skills and ability to navigate Adobe Creative Suite with a strong working knowledge of XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, InVision, Figma, Mural, Miro and other design tools

    • Defined consulting skills, with the ability to surface project requirements, build good relationship dynamics and help lead discussions effectively

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both client and internal settings

    • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time, which requires U.S. citizenship

    • Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
